Bat is one of the most famous and ancient Iranian games called “King Game”, Because of its popularity and commonness among rulers and commanders. This game has been shown in Iranian miniatures painting a lot. At the beginning Bat was played by Iranian jockeys in order to show the ability of their war horses.
